Greetings Sorors & Guests
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to explore the rich history and legacy of our esteemed chapter. Since our chartering on March 30, 1934, by six dynamic women, BBAAC has stood as a pillar of strength and service in the greater Bay Area.
Today, our chapter is a thriving sisterhood of over 120 women, whose commitment to community service remains unwavering. BBAAC is proud to contribute to the betterment of our society through initiatives focused on economic development, educational advancement, international awareness and involvement, physical and mental health, as well as political awareness and involvement.
This website serves as a window into our sisterhood and service projects. We encourage you to visit frequently, so that you can discover the impactful work being done by BBAAC to meet the ever-evolving needs of the communities in our service area. Please join us in our endeavors, as we strive to serve with excellence, foster positive change, and leave a lasting legacy in the Berkeley Bay Area. Thank you for your interest, support, and for being an integral part of our shared mission to uplift and empower.
In Service and Leadership,
Petrina Alexander-Perteet
